Music is a pursuit I have had since I was a child and it has lead me on journeys across the country and back. I have had recording experience in a variety of studios in Richmond, VA, Los Angeles, CA, Long Island, and New York City doing small-budget recordings as well as larger, label-funded work. I have worked with accomplished engineers from Columbia and Island (Universal) Records. I started as a singer in pop-punk bands in my hometown; this lead to additional opportunities for songwriting and performance. After I moved to New York City in 2000 I began to teach myself guitar. After performing all over NYC with various bands, I decided to add the bass to my repertoire. I founded alternative rock band, Battle Maiden of which I was the lead singer and bass player. I also wrote and co-produced the video for our song, Ernesto's Heart. We performed in various venues across New York City.
